We are really excited about going, but have yet to master enough phrases to get by on our own, so we are going to stick with our tour pretty closely to see a small part of this awesome country. We are going to pack lightly. We decided that it would be easier to buy extra clothing in China and then donate it when we leave than pack our own clothes from home. Who knows, we might keep the new clothes we buy in China and leave our clothes from home behind. One thing I'm definitely bringing from home are my most comfortable walking shoes. Since we will be walking a lot, wearing comfortable shoes was probably the most important China travel tips we got from many people, especially our friends who have spent a lot of time in remote parts of China. We want to make sure we make the most of it, so old familiar, comfortable shoes are the ticket to getting up and getting out every day we are there.
