I have listed some lesser known China travel information more specifically facts about the country that may push you to book that China travel package so here they are:
- The total land area of China is 9,596,960 sq. Kms.
- It is the fourth largest country in the world.
- Shanghai and Beijing hold the top two spots for largest world cities.
- The estimated population of China in July 2007 was 1,321,851,888 people. The population estimated at the same time for the United States was 301,139,947 people. Hey, a billion more American babies born and we will be right there with them.
- Ice cream was invented in China back in 2000 BC after combining milk, rice and snow and packing it together.
- Hong Kong is the only city where cars drive on the left side in China.
- Tea has been a Chinese drink for 1800 years.
- Kung Fu was invented by Chinese Shaolin monks.
- China is accredited for the invention of paper, gunpowder, the compass and printing.
